Any purchased high resolution win photos ($40.00), or 8x10 prints, will be sent to Penny King from the photographer for use in the Newsletter.

BSCA NEWSLETTER PHOTOS
A MESSAGE FROM MARY GRACE BUCKWALTER, NEWSLETTER EDITOR

There is no need this year for individuals to forward win photos to the newsletter.
Penny King will be forwarding those photos to the Newsletter and she has put a deadline of May 25th on the purchase if you wish to be included in the Specialty Newsletter.
Penny, along with the Chairs of each sport, will also choosing five candids from each event to include in the newsletter.
She will be forwarding those as well (I have not seen any instructions to purchase these, so at this time, since the chairs are selecting, you do not need to purchase High Resolution photos to be included).

If you purchased any “Low Res” photos, we understand they came with a “no reprint” clause in their permissions. We are terribly sorry, but as we had to tell the chairs involved, that means we cannot accept those photos to be printed in the newsletter without express permission from the photographer.

ANY questions regarding the professional photos taken at this National should be directed to Photography Chair Penny King at pennyking@hotmail.com. We simply do not have answers for you, as we all were only recently made aware of the arrangements with the photographers.

We are more than glad to take any of your personal ringside candid photos that help capture the essence of the event – camera or phone. We look forward to using them as fillers and in collages and – who knows? – maybe Sherry will come up with a cartoon or two. They can be sent to newseditor@bsca.info or either Sherry or me personally. Deadline May 31st.
Exhibitors may opt out of having their photos printed by notifying the newsletter in writing.

FROM THE PREMIUM
The National Specialty Committee states that Nina Sage and Amber Jade Photography are the only photographers allowed to take formal “win” photographs and candids of dogs participating in events held in the facility.
The photos are for the purpose of sale to the dogs’ owners in any media format.
Exhibitors are prohibited from taking photos during the formal “win” shooting, including “over the shoulder” cell phone photos.
So the BSCA can’t use personal photos not taken by the Official Photographers.
***Please note candid photography at this event will be for personal use only and NOT be advertised for retail sale.
NEWSLETTER POLICY

The BSCA Newsletter will accept and print official show photographs for BSCA National and Regional Specialties and Supported Entries in its Gallery of Winners. Gallery of Winners will feature only show photographs from those Specialties/Supported Entries.
Of win photographs are supplied by the photographer, exhibitors may opt out of having theirs printed by notifying the newsletter in writing.
